Privacy Policy
Last updated November 1, 2026
This policy explains what information CreatorOne ("we", "us") collects when you use the CreatorOne website and app, how we use it, and the choices you have. CreatorOne is launched by Reality Check. Questions: support@creatoroneapp.com.
Information we collect
- Account information: your email address and the display name you choose when you sign up.
- Content you add: videos you upload, titles, captions, scripts, drafts, notes and the posting schedule you set.
- Connected account information: when you connect a social account (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and others), we receive the account ID, the account or channel name, and access tokens that let us publish on your behalf. We store tokens encrypted and only our servers can read them.
- Publishing results: whether each post succeeded, the link to the published post, and any error message returned by the platform.
- Technical information: basic logs such as IP address, browser type and timestamps, used for security and troubleshooting.
How we use information
- To publish the videos and captions you schedule, to the accounts you choose, at the times you choose.
- To show you the status of your scheduled and published posts.
- To operate, secure and improve CreatorOne, and to contact you about your account.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your content or connected account data for advertising. We do not post anything you did not schedule or approve.
YouTube and Google user data
CreatorOne uses YouTube API Services. When you connect a YouTube channel, we use Google OAuth access only to upload the videos you schedule to that channel and to read basic channel information (channel name and ID) so you can see which channel is connected. By connecting YouTube you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of your data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.
CreatorOne's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. You can revoke CreatorOne's access at any time from your Google security settings or by disconnecting the account in CreatorOne Settings.
Instagram, Facebook and TikTok data
When you connect Instagram or Facebook (Meta) or TikTok, we use the permissions you grant only to publish the content you schedule and to show its status. You can remove CreatorOne's access at any time in CreatorOne Settings, and also from your Meta account settings (Business Integrations / Apps and Websites) or your TikTok app settings (Security, Manage app permissions).
Sharing
We share information only as needed to run CreatorOne: with the social platforms you connect (to publish your posts), and with service providers that host our app, database and files (currently Vercel and Supabase), who process data on our behalf. We may disclose information if required by law.
Retention and deletion
We keep your information while your account is active. Uploaded videos may be deleted from our storage after they are published. When you disconnect a social account we delete its stored tokens. When you delete your account we delete your account information, content and tokens within 30 days, except where we must keep limited records by law. See Data Deletion for how to request deletion.
Security
Access tokens are encrypted at rest. Each creator's workspace is isolated so other users cannot see your content or connected accounts. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
Children
CreatorOne is not intended for anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the date above. For significant changes we will notify you by email.
